APPLICATION AND SCOPE

The equipment is ideally suited for treating organic waste gas at ambient temperature, particularly when dealing with high air volumes and low to medium concentrations. It excels in the treatment of volatile organic solvents encompassing a range of compounds, including benzene, esters, aldehydes, ethers, alkanes, and mixed types.

Across various industries, such as automotive, shipbuilding, motorcycle manufacturing, furniture production, household appliance manufacturing, piano making, and steel structure fabrication, this equipment finds widespread application. It is commonly employed in painting and coating workshops or production lines for purifying organic waste gas. Additionally, it can be seamlessly integrated into production processes involving shoe adhesives, printed iron cans, chemical plastics, printing inks, cables, enameled wires, and numerous other applications.



TECHNICAL FEATURES

The equipment incorporates both adsorption concentration and catalytic combustion processes within a closed-loop purification and desorption system. Unlike recovery-type organic waste gas purification equipment, it operates without the need for additional energy sources like steam, and its operational process is devoid of secondary pollution, leading to reduced equipment investment and operational costs.

Employing specially shaped honeycomb activated carbon as the adsorption material, it offers a long lifespan, low resistance, and high purification efficiency. The catalyst, loaded onto honeycomb ceramics, consists of high-quality precious metals such as palladium and platinum, achieving a catalytic combustion rate exceeding 97%. This catalyst boasts a long lifespan, low decomposition temperature, shortened desorption preheating time, and minimal energy consumption.

The equipment is equipped with a centralized microcomputer control system, ensuring fully automated operation with stable and reliable performance. At the front end, a dry high-efficiency dust filtration device is employed, ensuring high purification efficiency and prolonging the lifespan of the adsorption equipment.

Complete safety facilities are integrated into the equipment, including safety and fire valves (optional) installed between the gas source and the equipment. Strict control of the desorption temperature entering the activated carbon bed is maintained, and multiple safety measures, such as flame retardants, temperature sensors, alarms, and automatic shutdown mechanisms, are implemented. Additionally, the equipment features a nitrogen generation unit, a first in China, further enhancing its safety factor.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The equipment purifies organic waste gas through a comprehensive process involving activated carbon adsorption, thermal airflow desorption, and catalytic combustion. Initially, it harnesses the microporous structure and high surface tension of activated carbon to adsorb organic solvents from the waste gas, effectively purifying the emitted gases.

Once the activated carbon becomes saturated with adsorbed solvents, a thermal airflow is employed to desorb them and transport them to the catalytic combustion bed in a controlled concentration ratio. Here, the concentrated organic waste gas undergoes catalytic decomposition, converting it into carbon dioxide and water through a reaction with oxygen.

Crucially, the heat generated during this decomposition process is efficiently recovered by a high-efficiency heat exchanger and reused to heat the incoming high-concentration organic waste gas. After a certain operational period and once a balance is achieved among these three processes, the desorption and catalytic decomposition stages become self-sustaining, eliminating the need for external energy heating.

Note:1. When selecting equipment, pay attention to increasing the safety factor by 20%.

2. If the inlet temperature is higher than 40.C, a cooling device needs to be added.

3. If the treated gas contains dust or particulate matter, pre-treatment (using dry filters or wet scrubbers - horizontal spray cabinets or cyclone plate towers) should be carried out to ensure the lifespan of the activated carbon.

4. The equipment installation site should not produce corrosive gases. If there is corrosion, other materials can be used.

5. The equipment should be designed and configured according to user and installation site requirements.
