APPLICATION AND SCOPE

The equipment, featuring catalytic combustion, is adept at treating organic waste gas at room temperature, particularly suited for environments with high air volume and low to medium concentration. Specifically effective in handling volatile organic solvents such as benzene, ester, aldehyde, ether, alkane, and mixed types, it finds extensive application across diverse industries including automotive, shipbuilding, motorcycle, furniture, household appliances, piano, and steel structure production. Primarily used for the purification of organic waste gas in painting and coating workshops or production lines, it can also be seamlessly integrated into production lines for shoe adhesive, printed iron cans, chemical plastics, printing inks, cables, enameled wires, among others.



TECHNICAL FEATURES

The equipment integrates adsorption concentration and catalytic combustion processes within a closed-loop system for purification and desorption, eliminating the need for additional energy like steam and preventing secondary pollution during operation. This results in reduced equipment investment and operating costs compared to recovery-type organic waste gas purification systems.

Utilizing specially shaped honeycomb activated carbon as adsorption material ensures extended lifespan, low resistance, and high purification efficiency. High-quality precious metals such as palladium and platinum, loaded on honeycomb ceramics as catalysts, achieve a catalytic combustion rate exceeding 97%, offering long-term durability, low decomposition temperature, rapid desorption preheating, and minimal energy consumption. Centralized microcomputer control system enables fully automated and stable operation.

Featuring a dry high-efficiency dust filtration device at the front-end ensures superior purification efficiency and extends the lifespan of the adsorption equipment. Complete safety facilities including safety and fire valves (optional) between the gas source and the equipment are installed. During desorption, strict temperature control is maintained, with safety measures such as flame retardants, temperature sensors, alarms, and automatic shutdowns in place. Additionally, the equipment is equipped with a nitrogen generation unit, enhancing safety measures and making it the first of its kind in China. Suitable for purifying and treating organic waste gas from continuous or batch production processes.


WORKING PRINCIPLE

The equipment employs activated carbon adsorption, thermal airflow desorption, and catalytic combustion to effectively purify organic waste gas. Leveraging the multiple micropores and extensive surface area of activated carbon, it initially adsorbs organic solvents from the waste gas, serving as the primary purification process.

Once saturation of activated carbon adsorption occurs, the desorption of organic solvents takes place, facilitated by thermal airflow, and directed to the catalytic combustion bed at a specific concentration ratio, constituting the secondary process. Within the catalytic combustion bed, high-concentration organic waste gas undergoes decomposition into carbon dioxide and water through catalytic reaction with oxygen. The heat generated during decomposition is harnessed by a high-efficiency heat exchanger to heat the incoming high-concentration organic waste gas, completing the tertiary process.

Following a certain operational period and achieving equilibrium among the aforementioned processes, neither desorption nor catalytic decomposition necessitates external energy heating.

Note:1. When selecting equipment, pay attention to increasing the safety factor by 20%.

2. If the inlet temperature is higher than 40.C, a cooling device needs to be added.

3. If the treated gas contains dust or particulate matter, pre-treatment (using dry filters or wet scrubbers - horizontal spray cabinets or cyclone plate towers) should be carried out to ensure the lifespan of the activated carbon.

4. The equipment installation site should not produce corrosive gases. If there is corrosion, other materials can be used.

5. The equipment should be designed and configured according to user and installation site requirements.
