APPLICATION AND SCOPE

The equipment is ideally suited for treating organic waste gas at ambient temperatures, especially when dealing with high air volume and low to moderate concentrations. It excels in the treatment of volatile organic solvents, encompassing benzene, esters, aldehydes, ethers, alkanes, and mixed types.

This equipment finds extensive application across various industries, including automotive, shipbuilding, motorcycle manufacturing, furniture production, household appliance manufacturing, piano making, steel structure fabrication, and more. It is commonly used for purifying organic waste gas emitted from painting and coating workshops or production lines. Additionally, it can be seamlessly integrated with production lines for shoe adhesives, printed iron cans, chemical plastics, printing inks, cables, enameled wires, and other similar processes.



TECHNICAL FEATURES

The equipment integrates adsorption concentration and catalytic combustion processes, maintaining a closed loop throughout the purification and desorption cycle. Unlike recovery-type organic waste gas purification equipment, it operates without the need for additional energy sources like steam, and its operational process generates no secondary pollution, resulting in significantly reduced equipment investment and operational costs.

The adsorption material consists of specially designed honeycomb activated carbon, boasting a long lifespan, low resistance, and high purification efficiency. Loaded onto honeycomb ceramics, high-quality precious metals such as palladium and platinum serve as catalysts, achieving a catalytic combustion rate exceeding 97%. The catalyst exhibits a long lifespan, operates at a low decomposition temperature, requires a brief desorption preheating time, and consumes minimal energy. The equipment is equipped with a centralized microcomputer control system, ensuring fully automated, stable, and reliable operation.

A dry, high-efficiency dust filtration device is employed at the front end, enhancing purification efficiency and extending the lifespan of the adsorption equipment. The system also includes comprehensive safety features, including safety and fire valves (optional) installed between the gas source and the equipment. Strict control is exercised over the desorption temperature entering the activated carbon bed, with flame retardants, temperature sensors, alarms, and automatic shutdown mechanisms serving as safeguards. Unique to China, the equipment is equipped with a nitrogen generation unit, further enhancing its safety factor.

This equipment is suitable for purifying and treating organic waste gas generated by both continuous and batch production processes.


WORKING PRINCIPLE

The equipment purifies organic waste gas through a combination of activated carbon adsorption, thermal airflow desorption, and catalytic combustion. Initially, it leverages the micropores and immense surface tension of activated carbon to adsorb organic solvents in the waste gas, effectively purifying the discharged gas.

Once the activated carbon reaches saturation, a thermal airflow is used to desorb the adsorbed organic solvents and transfer them to the catalytic combustion bed in a specific concentration ratio. Here, the high-concentration organic waste gas undergoes catalytic reaction with oxygen, decomposing into carbon dioxide and water.

The heat generated during this decomposition is efficiently recovered by a high-efficiency heat exchanger and reused to heat the incoming high-concentration organic waste gas. After a period of operation and reaching a balance among these three processes, the desorption and catalytic decomposition processes become self-sustaining, eliminating the need for external energy heating.

When selecting equipment, it is crucial to enhance the safety factor by 20% for optimal performance. Additionally, if the inlet temperature exceeds 40°C, a cooling device must be integrated to prevent overheating. Furthermore, if the gas under treatment contains dust or particulate matter, pretreatment measures, such as using dry filters or wet scrubbers (including horizontal spray cabinets or cyclone plate towers), are necessary to prolong the lifespan of the activated carbon. It is also imperative to ensure that the equipment installation site is free from corrosive gases; in case of corrosion, alternative materials should be considered. Finally, the equipment should be tailored to the specific requirements of the user and installation site during the design and configuration process.
